Basketball involves more than just players and coaches! An important part of the game is a properly run scorers’ table. In order to maintain a positive Christian testimony, all people involved should be aware of and practice the scorers’ and timer’s duties as set by the NFHS.

NFHS Basketball Shot Clock Guidelines

Beginning in the 2026-2027 season we plan to implement the use of a basketball shot clock. Schools should begin now looking for the necessary equipment for your teams.

REMEMBER – The Electronic Clock Operator test should be taken every three years or when a significant change occurs.
